The Founders & Core Team
SPTechlabs was co-founded by Sam and Prabhash — both researchers and engineers from the University of Oulu, with the shared conviction that ambitious technology shouldn't wait. Prabhash brings rare range: a computer science research foundation, hands-on system design and software development, and the commercial instinct to take what's built to market. Kasper joined as a core collaborator bringing sales expertise and Finnish market depth.

Sam and Prabhash — both researcher-engineers from the University of Oulu — co-founded SPTechlabs with a clear goal: build technology that actually matters. Between them they cover the full picture, from architecture and code to strategy and growth.

iHealth Goes Live
SPTechlabs shipped its first product: iHealth, an AI-powered retinal screening platform using Vision Transformers and explainable AI. Kasper Sirkka joined to lead sales and the Finnish market.
